Seats of Power

I really don't think you can take a bad photo of the Canadian Parliament Buildings. While not the traditional angle that you'd take them at, I actually like this better than looking dead on from the front. Pictured here is the Centre Block featuring the Peace Tower and the Parliamentary Library. The Centre Block is actually the second version of the building. The original structure burned in the early 20th century and was rebuilt with the new tower. The Library (the round structure at the foreground) however is original having been saved from the fire when the chief library closed the iron fire doors.
